Our Process
Investing in custom-made jewelry might seem intimidating at first. We want you to feel comfortable in the process, confident that we’re here to guide you, answer your questions, and offer suggestions throughout the journey.
Contrary to popular belief, custom jewelry can be comparable in price to mass-produced jewelry. The difference is that your uniquely designed piece will be uniquely you.
Of course, if you would prefer to purchase something that we have already made, we’d be happy to help you choose just the right item in store. The perfect piece may already be waiting for you.
Our team has expertise in every area of jewelry. We work together to ensure the finished product meets your design, durability, beauty, and budget expectations. You can ask questions at any point in the process. Simply give us a call or set up an appointment.
Consultation
In our initial meeting, we’ll explore the styles and preferences that excite you. We’ll learn more about your inspiration and discuss any heirloom materials you might like to incorporate. Most people have a timeline and budget they hope to meet so we’ll be sure to cover those items as well.
Don’t worry about being a jewelry expert. All the terminology and options for gems, materials, finishes, and every part of the process will be explained in ways that make sense. By the end of our first session, you’ll be pleased with how low-stress the experience has been, and excited for the next step!

Design
The design process continues by turning our shared idea into a 3D CAD digital model. We’ll send you a copy of the rendering within one or two weeks so you can review and respond to it.
Once you approve the digital design, we will print a 3D model that you can try on. If your design includes stones, our team will hand select a few gems based on your preferences and budget. Then you can come by the store to make your final selections. At this point a deposit for half the total price of the piece will allow us to begin production.
Once you’re able to see how all the elements will come together into your beautiful new custom design and approve it, we will get to work on production.
Production
Your piece is handcrafted by our expert jewelers. We use the 3D wax model to cast in your choice of any color or karat gold, or in platinum. Then we hand-set any gems, ensuring each one is secure. We take a meticulous approach to polishing and inspecting your final piece of jewelry for quality to last a lifetime. Production typically takes two to three weeks.
Delivery
As soon as your jewelry is ready you can come into the store and receive it. We’ll present you with your final piece and let you know how to care for and clean it so it will look great for generations.

Complimentary Services
Engraving inside rings, an insurance appraisal, a polishing cloth, and initial cleaning and resizing are all complimentary for our customers.
Guarantee
Our personal, collaborative approach leads to customers loving their new jewelry. In the unlikely event you aren’t completely satisfied, please let us know right away. We are happy to discuss how to resolve the issue.
We have a comprehensive service guarantee for the first year. In addition to complimentary cleaning, if any small gems fall out in the first year we will replace them free of charge.
